There is a money changer out the front of the hotel and turn left, it is a Kodak shop and there is no problem with ripoffs. The safety deposit boxes at the Bounty are excellent and never had a problem and we always take cash and leave it there. The Bounty sometimes show the footy on the ABC Asia channel but if they walk out the hotel and turn left a place called 'Tubes' shows the footy and if they ask around the hotel they will speak to other Aussies who can point them in the right direction.
