Hi Hillary,
We went with some friends who live in Bali, so they had their own car to get us there and back. It is way out in the boonies and I did not see a taxi in sight at all the whole evening.
I would suggest that you arrange for a driver to take you and wait for you whilst you have dinner. I don't think it's too easy to get transport from there back to civilisation.
