In reference to the liquid laws, when we got to the airport on Saturday the 31st of March and checked in our baggage we where advised if we had any toiletries (deodorant, perfume, lip gloss, foundation, shampoo, conditioner, mouse, gel etc) to put these straight into our suitcase and not to be taken on as hand luggage and it will make it easier for us to go through the security check before we get onto the plane, hence making sure nothing was confiscated upstairs. If there are items that need to be taken on as hand luggage you must put these in a bag size that is 20cm x 20cm plastic zip lock however all items where not allowed to exceed the limit of 100ml. Once we got through upstairs went to the duty free at the Bali Airport and we where a bit confused whether we could take alcohol out of Bali and return to Perth. However, we asked sercurity and they advised us that we could have 1litre per person as long as you kept the bag sealed with the docket attached you where able to get through the last security check before you got onto the plane. There where people in the queue who had been given wine as a present which was a 750ml bottle. This was not allowed to go through because it was not in a plastic bag sealed with the receipt attached from the duty free shop. Also other people where stopped if they had a bottle of water as the bottles you get are 750ml this is more than the allowance allowed of 100ml. So they either got these confiscated or had to skull this before going through same for me I love the Tomato Ketchup and completely forgot to put this into the suitcase and this was taken off of me because each little bottle was 200ml. The security guy was very apologetic to everyone saying he had very little english but our Australian Government where the ones you have implemented this new rule.

Hope this is helpful to everyone who travels to Bali, any questions please email and I will only be to happy to help.

Cheers
Sharon
