that is what sarongs are used for. I never take a towel to the beach always buy a sarong, they dry very quickly and there is no weight in them when you bring them back in your luggage, plus can be used for many other things while you are over there, wrap it around you when you walk from your hotel to the beach then you don't need to take your clothes with you.
