I think Rp500.000 a day is too expensive - 350.000 is plenty. Wherever you stay the driver will be given accommodation&food and also get a commission - probably 30%- of all you spend on your accommodation and meals. He will also get commission from any restaurant you stop at and be given food while you eat, any on any shopping you do.
