Puri Bali is a lovely little place that has a nice pool and is next door to Rambutans so in a good spot.
The lovely young lady called Made just about runs the place and gets you anything you want.

Rooms 9,10,11 and 12 are great and I think the price for 2 is 180 000rp (200 000rp in peak)including brekkie.
The driver we used from Lovina charges 250 000rp to get there and same for back to Legian. Thats a straight run and stopping for the loo, not an all day trip.
We ate at the hotel itself for lunch. We also ate dinner at rambutans and in the next street at Kopi Bali.I beleieve Jasmin kitchen is also good.
Lot's of nice places to eat.
Rambutans standard rooms are very nice and about $35US a night (think he gives forumites discount) so that room may also be in your budget, though we didn't know about them.
