question below re shopping trips into Denpasar. We usually get a car for the day (as taxis can be thin on the ground in DPS) do the rounds of the departments stores - Robinson's, Milennia, Ramayana, Tiara Dewata & Matahari, with a visit to Makro on the way back. All the centres have started to meld together in my memory - I can't remember which one is which now, because we do them all on the one day! It's a fun way to cover a lot of ground & really see what everyone offers nd what sales are on. A bit of a marathon for the kids, but as long as we stop for cold drinks & snacks often enough they're happy. Cheers, Sue.
