I suppose you're right Chillichick.....bombings are alot worse than muggings and robberies.
At the risk of stirring the pot though, there is one thing that should be pointed out. The bombings in Bali don't happen everyday. Although they were a tragedy, and I feel for those directly effected, you would have to be very unlucky to be involved in such a terrible thing. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the muggings and robberies that are an everyday event here in Oz. And no, I don't exaggerate. I have been a police officer in WA for 22 years. They do happen everyday to ordinary people. And our very civilised judical system ensures the offenders spend minimal time in custody before they are out terrorising again.
Anyway, each to his own. You enjoy your holidays to Mandurah or Kalbari in the future. (Stick to soft drink though, the price of beer will astound you!)I'll take the risk and keep going to Asia.
