many years ago on our first trip to bali we were staying at the Tjampuhan hotel in ubud and accross the road was a beautiful shop that sold silk doonas. The shop was owned by the Munut family (painters) and these doonas were not like the everyday ones you buy at the markets, but absolute works of art, beautiful golds and purples,flowers and scenes of mountains and versace type styles. On going back 2 years later the shop had shut and we had our driver taking us all over to textile factories trying to hunt them down. No luck. Does anyone know where to purchase these. Price was around $200 way back then. Any help wopuld be appreciated. Willing to give it one more go, to locate them.
