Try Melasti Beach Resort.
We take 4 kids...they all go in adjoining room...get "old" suite room as they are huge. You will have 2 bathrooms between you and have your room and the kids room.
The beach apparently is good for surfing...only know this by talking to the surfers they stay at Melasti.
It is right on the beach and a nice quiet street if you walk via the street.
Shops are an easy 5-10 min walk into Melasti street and nice to walk the Jalan Jalan which is the walkway along the beach as there is not cars or motorcycles allowed.
it is only listed as three star so not as expensive as some other hotels however all the "old" suite rooms have just been renovated and we have always (been 3 times with kids and another 3 times without them) found accommodation to be just fine.
