Last year we spent some time at Parigata Villas, Jalan Duyung, in Sanur. It is a small hotel as such, but each individual room has a private entrance, and totally private pool/ garden. Big room and bathroom but no cooking facilities as such. The bathroom was big enough for making a cuppa or sandwich tho (seperate toilet). Also, in the garden was a lovely outside hot shower ( which I wouldnt have used unless I was secure with the privacy!)
Parigata also had its own big pool, but was only 100 meters to the beach, where they had their own beach club as such. Its also very close to the shops and restaurants.
We had a look at Zen, which does look very beautiful and certainly spacious, but quite a walk to jalan Tambligan. I think you would have to have a car (maybe they supply one with the villa)
This year we are at Puri Ayu Sanur, because it does have kitchen facilities (as we are there for 6 weeks). Its half the price of Parigata. Havent stayed there before so cannot comment yet.
