deserted hotel?

over the last few times iv'e walked past the Hard Rock Hotel heading from kuta to sammy & suzies there looks like to me a hotel that seems a lot run down a few cars around the place and not much movement, i also get the impression they still have people staying there almost like a 'ghost hotel'. does anyone know anything about it?
