Also stayed there in late oct 2005. Thought the location was good. Didn't think the place was run down but at the time was only about 50% full and they were renovating the resturant upstairs. Bought off the hawkers on about day 2 of 15, paid a little too much but told them I didn't want to be bothered again and wasn't. The main culprit for hounding was a guy by the name of michael and he has now moved up near the expresso bar. Thought the staff were friendly but lazy and not very accomadating. Poor service around the pool and our request to have non balinese music often fell on deaf ears. Great pool for kids and thought the rooms were very comfortable and would stay there again. Positives out weighing the negatives.
