I always use these when i go anywhere especially Bali. I always take half in cash and the other half on the travelex card.
These are really good as you get 2 cards and if you were to loose the first one all you have to do is take out the second one straight away and put it on the machine and all the money automatically transfers over to the second card and cancels the first card, so you dont need to worry about ringing up and saying you have lost your card, that why they give you two.
For the exchange rate im not quite sure you will have to ask the bank, but i think they will give the banks rate at the time, but it will come out in Rupiah already for you. But the rate seems to be the same to me as as money changers, but you might have to just ask the bank.
But yes there a great thing to have i reckon!!!!!
Just also rememeber every time you withdrawl it will charge you i think AUD$3.50. So get out enough for a few days and put the money you wont use in the safe etc or what ever you like to do with it.
