For the days he is driving you and using fuel vs the days he will not realy drive too much I think maybe an average of 300.000rp is very fair. So 4.2 million certainly covers that.
I guess you have to look at whether the time he would spend with you would cost him work so then by paying that moeny you can rest easy knowing you have certainly covered all the bases..
If he turns around and wants to spend some on you though let him as I find they are very generous when they have it and like to shout you a treat every so often. I have a friend who I have to pull up as when he has it I'm not allowed to spend a cent and I feel awkward. Realising though he is a man, I have to repsect that he likes to lead so to speak every now and then.
