before we got there to have a booster seat for out three yr old, when we arrived he didnt. having said that - the Balanese way is to all jump in the taxi/van together which we did - all 6 of us, driver makes 7 :) 2 kids on laps. I did see plenty of baby seats on the luggage carousel when we we arrive home yesterday so plenty of people do take their own...Just communicate with your driver before you go. we would drive past Balanese women holding their children on the motobikes - whole families of 4 on 1 motorbke, even saw one lady breastfeeding her baby sitting behnd her hubby on their motorbike, just amazing.
