Not everyone is fit and mobile and you need to take that into account when reclining your seat. On a recent long haul flight the man in front of my wife reclined his seat as soon as the seat belt light went out and it stayed that way for the 10+ hours to Dubai, except for meal breaks. It made it very difficult to move around. Fortunately we had a different passenger on the next sector and didn't have the same problem. It's a bit of a lottery whether you are going to get well-mannered neighbours on aircraft. Grunts, shoves and looks that could kill don't work on some people either.
