It's in a terrific location but doesn't have direct beachfront access as there is some religious site (burial ground - can't remember) there. Access to the beach is through the markets. Wouldn't recommend it for kids though as the pool area is not really suitable. The pool is more like a long winding rock pool on several levels. The security there is very in your face (good) with metal detectors to walk through similar to airports. I think they had a bomb scare there about a year ago. Used to be owned by the Suharto clan and maybe still is. Tommy's cars were still parked out front in March when I was there
