We have been to Bali many times and have stayed at many hotels. The one we found about 5 years ago, just newly opened, was Kamala Pantai in Legian/Seminyak. What do we like about this hotel. Well my husband works everything out on the beer index, whether it be in America Europe or Asia. That way he knows what his dollar is worth. Value for money the Kumala Pantai fits the bill. In a lot of beautiful hotels we have found that we cannot afford to eat or drink there on a regular basis. So as most of us do we go out on the streets in search of cheaper fare. Why pay Australian prices when you have paid so much airfare to travel further than Queensland. We have not found another hotel yet that gives us the value for money as the Kumala Pantail.. Approximately $60 Aus. per night per room. not per person. including buffet breakfast to die for. From the dining room to around the pool to the mini bar in your room all prices are the same. No added taxes in any of the prices. Admittidly they are probably in there but what you see is what you get. Each time we go to Bali we are looking for a newer hotel with a bit more to offer but can't find anything better. Would be interested if someone could let us know of a more economical and user friendly hotel in this area.
