I would much prefer the melka sun bears to be in Laos rather than performing. I thought we had moved on from performing bears a century or so ago.
The orang utan should have been sent to Kalimantan to the rescue group there for rehabilitation. Why does he live his life in a tiny cage?
So long as we swim with the dolphins and use them to perform tricks for us there will be a black market trade.
Maybe the crew at the Melka started with the best of intentions but they have lost any credibility regarding the rescue in light of the performances of the bears and the dolphins
