I am coming down to earth again after another fantastic week in Bali.
The thought of flying Garuda made me a bit nervous but there was absloutly nothing to worry about.
Melasti Beach resort was beautiful, no problems with the pools at all. Its good how people leave a few pool toys behind. Floating round what I like to call the river pool with one of those noodles under my arms was just the most relaxing thing.
Johnny the dog helped me with breakfast every morning, he is so gentle and I was told he is about 9 years old.
The forum meeting at The Legend was well attended and lots of fun, thanks for the Irish blessing and green chocys, it was a good start to wonderful week. Hope to meet you all again soon.
On Ogah Ogah night Rick from the Foo Kin pub came with me to Nengahs house and then to watch the parade. Then this very gentelmanly youg man walked me safley back to my hotel. Thanks Rick.
Neipy Day was spent by the pool bar playing Jenga with the staff and other guests. You dont need to ask who won (ahem, t'would be me ). They were very strict about the no lights at MBR. The security came knocking at my door telling me to put my light out when I went to the bathroom. But it was a lovely atmosphere when most of the guests were sat on the balconys just taking in the peace and watching the stars. Just beautiful. No sound, no light, soft warm night.
