proof of funds

Anybody out there? I'll be arriving in Bali shortly and wondered [as i've read in on the website] whether you really need to show proof of funds when entering at the airport, for just a holiday. If so, is a bank statement the easiest and best way to clarify you have sufficient funding. Thanks
