And some of our favourites are JJs, Lazer Sports Bar, Retro and Cafe Aladin. All are quite close to the Besakih (JJs is right across the street).
You really need to be quite paranoid about the water. Don't drink it. Don't even brush your teeth with it. The hotel will provide you with a certain amount of water each day (the Griya Santrian gives us 2 small bottles per day, but we buy it in bulk from the little shop across the street).
We're making our 7th trip in May, and we've never had Bali belly (touch wood). We attribute this to a healthy diet of several Bintangs each evening (LOL).
