I frankly didn't have too much of a problem. Flights took off and landed more or less on time. The service was a bit sullen but I've seen worse on Quantas and British Airways.
Yes, there were individual screens as well as big screens. The aircraft overall was fairly modern and well maintained.
They adhere strictly to the rules as regards extra baggage, so be careful. If I had a choice, I would fly Singapore Air anytime, anyday.
Kuala Lumpur is a great place for a stop over. Quite a few things to do and see. I loved it.
My ratings : Singapore Air 9/10, Thai Air 7/10, Malaysian Airlines 5/10, British Airways and Quantas 2/10.
