Arrived home last Monday. We departed Brisbane 9.45am arrived Singapore 3.30pm (7hrs 45mins flying time). Left Singapore at 4.40pm arrived Denpasar 7.10pm (2hrs 30m mins flying time). Singapore Airlines were just great, food and drink was good and you had your own little tv screen with a choice of movies or you could play games or listen to music - a variety of things to help pass the time. The flight attendants were very professional and I couldn't complain about one single thing.
We had two nights stopover in Singapore on the way home. It is worth doing if you have the time, the transfer from the airport is free and our hotel (The Peninsula Excelsior) was $45 a night (share twin) and we used the free hop-on hop-off bus to see the city and also the underground.
