I have found that if I take a letter from my doctor regarding the diabetes, declare the drugs at the first security point, declare them again at all subsequent points prior to boarding the plane, they are fine. Where there is a problem, however, is when you board the plane and I have to give the drugs to the "hostie" and instruct her how to use them if I get "wonky"....I find the "hostie" usually just gives them back to me, even though they arent supposed to
