Happy to see you are coming to Bali again. I have been here nearly 3 months and will be in good old Yenda on April 14th. Maybe we can catch up for that coffee.
Have stayed in Malang at a okay place called Hotel Splendide, check it out on internet to have a look, clean , I went on bus from Denpasar to Malang, leaving 5 p.ml arriving 4 a.m. and so not a tedious journey with traffic during th day, but of course you dont get to see anything. The ferry ride to Gilimanuk is at night, but still beautiful. I have stayed at Lovina, actually on night of Tsunami and will try and think of name hotel, had villa, very nice.
I cant think of much anymore , have Bali head and just ambling along.Hope to pack up and store things when I arrive home and then make big decision about coming back for six months. Hope you have had rain..by the way, the bus trip was very comfortable , make sure air con bus, seats dropped back, blankets and we were given little boxes of food and then had stop at 2 a.m. for a huge buffet indonesian meal, all included in price. Only problem I encountred was that the toilet up the back was tiny sand squat with only room for one foot before climing on and a bucket of water with laddle on floor and bus went around corner and one foot went into bucket..
