used to be a nightmare but with the drop off of tourists theres been a drop off in aggravation. One thing to remember though when coming back from the Gilis, taxis from the taxi terminal (about 300 metres from the harbour entrance) arent allowed into the harbour to pick you up. The touts try to take full advantage of this by offering totally overpriced deathtrap transport when all you need to do is walk the three hundred metres for a safe metered taxi.
