stay at the Jayakarta. We also stayed in a 1 bed appartment, 3rd floor, room 6319. Have no idea what the cost of the room was as like I said we exchanged a timeshare week from the Peninsula resort. Perhaps the fact that viewing the property on the website and paperwork we had received from timeshare properties we were expecting a similar resort standard wise to the Peninsula, Keraton or Shangrila and thus found the Jayakarta well below their standards.
Agree the residence is close to the front gate with ample parking for bike/cars but during our stay the corridors were dark even with all the lights on other than the first floor with a large open side most of its length. Our final 6 days were spent at the 3 star Dewi Sri hotel which was delightful after the Jayakarta, returning to cool rooms, fresh smell, bright and airy. This is my personal opinion on the properties based on my recent stay.
