Sofe, Ta! This update on the is helpful too. I'm also a quad. When I replied to Caroline I didn't notice she was bringing back to the Bali big smoke again with this wheelchair accessible hotel - hard to escape the grip of these bright lights hey. So eitherway, it looks like there is a hob preventing the wheelchair going under the shower too, so I would need to top & tail for the duration of the visit - not ideal when in the tropics.
Have exhausted the accessible accommodation link suggested some time ago - note for others reading, this list is outdated as of 07 & some of these hotels aren't as advertised 'accessible."
I contacted Richard 12 months ago & he was helpful re his Rambutan property but he was cautious about suggesting it was the silver bullet. I've got Rambutan down as my best prospect so far. Ordinarilly I'd be there, its sounds fantastic listenning to others but its not that simple for us. I might end up telephonng him some time soon if nothing else comes up in the meantime & see just how manageable things are there.
Fingers crossed there will be some more info on the way from other subscribers.
