and doesn't want to live anywhere else. He married a Balinese girl about nine years ago and she doesn't want to live anywhere else either. He's had plenty of time to consider the good and not-so-good aspects of Bali and knows where he wants to be.
I'm 72 and most of my friends are ballroom dancers in their 60s and 70s. We don't really sound like a typical bunch of Bali lovers, do we? I know that lots of them are regular Bali visitors and have been for years. But I'm constantly amazed at who else amongst my seemingly unlikely acquaintances just can't wait to get back to Bali, our second home.
I'm always happy to discuss fors and againsts on anything, in a reasonable manner. I never try to hide my liking for Bali and the Balinese people and I get relatively little negativity. Maybe I come through as someone who just won't get involved with people arguing from a position of uninformed ignorance..
