I live in Newcastle (only 2 hours from Sydney) and always stay in Sydney the night before GA715, I look at it as a prelude to the "real thing", a night in Sydney in a good airport area hotel, nice meal, then off to Paradise the next morning...LG...check wotif.com, not so expensive.
