I'm finally up up and away on the 29th March out of Sydney. Dates have changed 50 times but is now totally locked in.
First three days with the Garuda team at a sensational location I will brag about later. Can't for privacy reasons yet - not mine of course. Then up to Lovina for one night then back to Legian for 10 days..... Can't wait. So excited.
The boys are coming with me and a girlfriend and her son will meet up with us on the 2nd. It seems like such a long time since I was there and it's not even a year. I guess that is because so much has happened and when you've cancelled two trips it makes it seem like finally, finally crossing the line.
Was booked and paid for last May but ended up in hospital then booked for September but still too crook. Nothing stopping me now. Feels like I can finally put that other stuff behind me.
I've been working six days and two nights a week since January 2 as it's just been soooo busy. I know I have been over doing it but it's part of my diversional therapy to not think about other things... Helps financially of course after so much time off work last year. I solemnly pledge though to spoil myself rotten with massages and sleep ins and all things special.
Have worked out an eating plan of eating super cheap one night then super nice the next. My girlfriend is a real foody so I have to take her to some of the hot spots for food. I want to anyway as I haven't been to a restaurant since I last went to Bali - Pathetic really. Just have no real interest here. Wow that's scary - memo to me " must get a life outside of Bali" I'll put that on the to do list or at least the 5 year plan.
So trying as hard as I can to sneak to S&S on the 30th but not sure where I'll be... At worst I'll be there by the 2nd as I'll be staying just steps away. Will be there most days so hoping to catch up with as many of you as possible. There are a lot there at the time so again very exciting..
Doing the Mountain Bike Ride again...on the 4th April. Have to as the kids just love it and another family who are looking after my boys for the first three days are keen. I always love it once I'm on it. Just hate rushing my brekky and the drive up with number two son who gets violently car sick after the first ten minutes. I'm anticipating he'll chuck all the eay to Lovina.. No just kidding, he can take Travel clam now which works but tends make him groggy for a while. May try Kwells??? as Ive seen it suggested here many times.
So dare I say - I'm counting sleeps......
