On economy fares, your cabin luggage is not supposed to exceed 7kgs. If they weigh it and you're over they will charge you excess luggage fees of $15 per kg in Australia & $12USD per kg in Bali. So beware.
Jetstar weighed my cabin luggage in Melbourne on checking in. Not weighed in Bali on the return trip.
