It is something we all give some thought to and is very attractive on the surface. Some points to look at are VISA s , I believe that there are now a form of visa to alow this so look into it with the Indfonesian Embassy and the Australian Consulate in Bali.Whare to live and cost of lease or ownership. Cost of medical insurence (most expats to my knowlege take out a private insurence for themselves for treatment outside indonesia (not Cheap).Politixcal climate now and future (anyones guess). I looked at living and working in Bali some years ago its not as cheap or idealitic as it is when you are on holidays . I think for myself that I would look at spending Equal time both here and in Bali and enjoy the best of both worlds
if possible. Hope you find a solution that is best for you.
