Visa Cost in Bali

Hi- I forgot (its been since 2001 since we went to Bali) but when you arrive, you need to purchase a temporary tourist visa - does anyone know if they accept credit cards, American dollars, or if it must be Indonisian Rupiah, is there a place to change money before hitting the immigtation line? And, how much is it currently? Thanks-
