as Tina say's there is a Bank at the end of the street on the Main drag in. Just turn right and you can't miss it. We had a look in there but the rate was low so kept walking a bit further in the same direction and found a little shop with a sign out front. Their rate was good and no problems with rip off. I was a bit dubiouos as the money change counter was towards the back of the shop but we just changed 100.AUS so can't go wrong. If you need to recharge your phone card just turn left at the end of the road about 100metres. We have stayed at the Puri Bali before if you can try to get one of the rooms right at the back facing directly out onto the pool.
