I think it is an OK place to stay.
I did however get sick of walking straight out into the busyness of Poppies 2 every time I left the hotel. You get swamped with transport offers and sales pitches. At the start this is good as you get to know a few people and enjoy the attention, but it does get a bit tedious especially if you just want to quickly duck in to circle k or something.
Otherwise, the pool is nice and deep, so is nice and cool. There are two pools so you can pick whether you want some action or relaxation. The staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant is nicely priced and not too bad. The breakfast is standard, bad bacon, but nice danishes. Rooms and bathrooms are fairly big. The bathrooms are marble which is nice. The toilets are square, which looks a little weird.
Well they are my thoughts. I stayed there in January 2004.
