I always use them. I give them 5.000 each person. If I have a lot I get 2 porters. Sometimes one. That is soo cheap. They need the money more than I need to carry a bag to save less than $1. They also get you straight through customs. I just have 5.000 notes and give it to them at the taxi counter. When they ask if I need to change money I say no. I've never had a problem but then they know I've been before because I already have the money.
There are a few that try to get more but just tell them that's the rate.
