Have stayed at JH. Nice bur remote - 15 minutes from anywhere by taxi. Not much for children other than the pool. Stayed at Hotel rama Candidasa and much preferred it there. CD is a sleepy little town but there are boat trips etc which kids would enjoy. Also diving tho they may be too young. Of the two I would pick Candidasa any day but thats personal opinion. Also if your hotel is remote from the town you might have the same problem as JH - check its exact locality.
