nyonya means MRS ... and Nona is Miss.. :) (usually shortened to "non" )

however servants used to use Nyonya for dutch women during the days of occupation by the dutch and now often use if for their employers in recent times.. otherwise they more commonly use Ibu for people unknown to them... :)

Nona as a full word is very rarely used in every day Bahasa... "Non" is more common, for people addressing younger women unknown to them... :)
