We always get Bali simcards - this time we got Bebas on XL Network.
Best deal we've had yet, set up and rp110 000 credit cost us rp180 000.
We were in Bali for 2 weeks - i made a total of 4 x 10min calls to Australia, plus 2 calls to different customer service numbers for banks (both calls about 10mins). Numerous SMS to Aust, about a dozen local (land and mobile) calls and about the same SMS and left Bali with rp21 000 credit left - so called a friend from transit in Singapore and used the lot up.
Hubby still has rp66 000 credit left and he made 5 calls to Australia, all between 5-10mins long, numerous local (land/mobile).
Just make sure your phone isnt locked to your usual network.
I am pretty sure Pre-paid phones are locked?
