A couple of years ago we were involved in an accident. We negotiated a price and as sometimes happens a different car (older) arrived from what we were expecting. Whilst driving into Denparsa the brakes on our vehicle failed and we ended up the rear of another vehicle who in turn hit some motor cyclists. Very nasty. Having a law background whilst the injured people were being sorted I was trying to sort out the legalities of who was reponsible for what and taking down names etc. No one seemed too concerned about the accident. Another vehicle came along and took the opportunity to negotiate a price to take us to Denparsa, we went and never heard anything more. I was a bit nervous when we left Bali, I was expecting someone to tap me on the shoulder at the airport.
