Of course he did not want to do anything about it but just wanted everyone to know it was sore. Our friends and driver Putu Putra bought a terracotta dish at a local shop and got some sandelwood from a herbalist. He rubbed the sandalwwod on the bottom of the pot with a little water to make a thick paste which he slathered around Mike's toe. He repreated this twive a day. Within 24 hours the bruising had gone and in two days it was completely normal again.
