We first went to Bali in 1990 for the first 3/4 days we hated evrything about the place, but at the end of our 14 days we did not want to leave it was another 6 years befor we went back, and have since then tried to go back at least once a year. I wish i could say what it is appeals to us, certainly the people we have good friends Wayan Sudi and Ketut Nendi who we are very close to they are typical of most Balinese, genuine people. The culture, the acceptance of tourists, we have seen a change since the bombings, but the spirit is still with the Balinese regardless of the hardships they have.
We are going for two weeks in April and then for 3 weeks in October, and I am sure that there will be many trips to come. if you print your paper we would be very interested to read it.
