Every trip to Bali i have taken a small note book (yes i now have 12 dating back to 1983) and i list prices, places i have eaten (would like to eat at), things to do, new places to check out, phone numbers of family and friends at home (with international code), email addresses etc etc etc.
I even make up a business card size conversion chart, double sided, and random values starting at rp500 and going upto rp5million and then laminate it - I use Excel.
I find the more organised i am the more relaxed holiday/business trip i have.
We got back last monday and already i am joting down notes for next trip in July.
