I was in Bali in January and when I booked last week for April, the same hotel was around $20 more per night than in January. They have also cut back on the % discounts you receive on food and drink, spa treatments etc. Travel agent said the rates in most hotels are going up from April 1. Perhaps a sign of a recovery for Bali making it possible for them to charge a more realistic price? Still a bargain but as a single traveller having to pay room rate it is quite a bit extra.
