This trip was part holiday (for a change) and business (as usual) so the information will be a mish mash and probably not in any order.

First off the bat was to find out how the coin jewellery was actually made. And hopefully put an end to the on going debate.
Well i posted the 'recipe' last night under the post subject 'Still On Bali Time".

First day in Bali is always spent 'checking things out' so thats exactly what we did, i was on a buying trip 10 months ago, so didnt really find much change in what was available.
We ended up in Matahari to stock up on supplies, hubby managed to buy a couple of dress shirts $10 each(to go with the 10 at home from last trip), he needs xxl - xxxl and we have found if your patient you soon find heaps to pick from.
He also got some work shorts around $8 a pair, he was pretty impressed with himself - 2 things off his list on the first morning.
Continued on down to Discovery Mall, had Starbucks and Bread Talk (2 things off my list), hubby bought 2 pairs of Levis for $40 a pair (genuine).
Checked out jewellery on the way back then it was in the pool for happy hour.
I think we ended up at IndoNational for dinner (mixed seafood grill rp55000).

Adi Dharma was about 45% full the first week we were there, then fully booked the next week, mainly Japanese (i will leave it at that because if i comment further it could start a riot, i am not racist BUT they really test your patience).

Next day attacked, ordered clothing from usual places, made a start on Jewellery then in the pool by 4pm - went to Munching Inn on Jl Benesari - food was good/average - not enough to tempt us to go back though.

Geneva was attacked on the third day - first time hubby has been there and he was impressed!!! Loved the convience of everything priced, no hassels and cold drinks continually offered.
I found this time that ALOT of wooden product was full of borers, usually this is only a small problem at Geneva, but this time there was definatley a problem.
Left about 3 hours later with about 2 cubic meters to be picked up.
Back in pool by 4pm - IndoNational for dinner (lobster thermadore rp175000?). Sonny soon had Dvd's on the table once our plates were cleared away - out came my list and my Telephone Index Book (of ones we have already)we soon had a pile of 60 @ rp7000ea.

Mentioned to Kerry that i wanted to visit the dentist while here, she suggested Dr Maaruf.
So called next day and got appointment for friday.
I knew i had a couple of small fillings but my concern was for a chipped front tooth that looked like it was going to fall apart due to fracture lines.
Camera picked up a total of 10 fillings (all small but definatley there and including my front tooth).
Price was $500 australian - i will admit i didnt think it would be this much (i havent been to the dentist for 10years).
Anyway price included cleaning, front tooth repaired and fillings.
He ended up removing all the damage around front tooth, and putting in a pin then repairing - the result is a very natural, cant tell its been fixed front tooth.
I was there for 3 hours and left with a huge smile on my face.
I was very impressed with the whole lot, he studied in USA for 10 years, and all his equipment and supplies are from there also, i found him to be a perfectionist to almost the point where i felt like saying 'thats good enough', very gentle and geniune in his concern for end result and your comfort. If you have a needle phobia then this is the guy for you.
Anyway that enough for now - i better close up shop, more later.
