Sorry I've forgotten the name of the river, though I do know it wasn't the Ayung River - we did that one last time. We booked through our hotel and paid 250 000rph each, a lot cheaper than last time, but even that price was negotiable on the street. As far as safety goes, I suppose accidents happen, but even though the water was quite fast this time, I still felt completely safe and my 10 yr old loved it. The guides that steer the boat are very good at what they do. Give it a go its a lot of fun.
