were there in May last year and were very happy with it. We had a family suite in the older section, it was big and cleaned thoroughly every day. The breakfast was fine, we had omlettes most days but the food was constantly being replaced. The pools were cleaned every day, not a problem. Im not sure what some people expect, it is after all a 3 star hotel. We have also stayed at the Puri Raja and also Sanur Plaza Hotel and Suites in Sanur, but would stay at the MBR again. It really is up to the individual, if you want 4-5 star, then pay the price
